In A Passionate Anti-Abortion Post, Austin Forsyth Attempts To Squash Rumors That He And Joy-Anna Had Sex Before Marriage
More than one month after announcing their pregnancy, Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth have finally dropped a major hint about their baby's due date. Read on for more details!
As fans and critics alike continue to wonder whether Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth’s baby was conceived before they wed in May, the pair is actively trying to shut those rumors down.
As Inquistr reports, ever since Joy, 19, and Austin, 23, announced that they were expecting their first child together in August, fans have been whispering about the couple’s controversial due date.
The pair revealed that Joy was pregnant at the end of August—exactly three months after they wed—but her baby bump was already quite prominent.
For more than a month now, it has been speculated that Joy and Austin secretly conceived their baby before they married, forcing them to move up their wedding date from October to May.
While the Counting On stars gave refused to engage in the rumors, they have finally dropped a big hint about their upcoming due date.
“Can’t wait to meet our baby! I got to feel it kick for the first time a few days ago!! Soooooo amazing!!! It’s already about the size of a bell pepper and weighs around half a pound!!!” the couple wrote on Instagram, along with a photo of Joy’s baby bump.
Though the pair didn’t give away their due date, given the size of the baby, Joy is likely about 18 weeks along.
That would put her due date at some time in February—squashing the rumors that Joy and Austin broke the biggest courtship rule of all before they wed.
According to Inquistr, this February due date would mean that Joy and Austin conceived almost immediately after their wedding night.
Meanwhile, Austin has decided to use his social media presence as a platform to promote his anti-abortion agenda.
“Abortion kills children,” Austin captioned a photo of himself standing next to an anti-abortion poster.
Almost immediately after he shared the photo, Austin’s comments section was flooded by fans—and critics.
“Proud to see you using your platform for good, and that you're not afraid to show what you stand for! Love seeing you stand up for life!” one commenter wrote.
“Another redneck baby machine duggar...ever think about getting a job? Being someone, maybe being yourself and not just a mirror image of your mom and sisters...none of you are individuals, just a bunch of Jim Bobs puppets ready to see who can break moms baby record ...you look like your 16 and pregnant, maybe u can go on that show,” another added.
