An Illinois father allegedly killed himself after murdering his two teenage daughters in a desperate attempt to hurt his estranged wife.

According to PEOPLE, authorities were called to a luxury condominium complex in St. Charles shortly after 5 p.m. on Friday.

Police had reportedly been called to the scene by somebody inside the home, as well as neighbors who heard the gunshots from inside the condo that evening.

“Oh my God! My husband shot my kids!,” Anjum Coffland, the estranged wife of shooter Randall Coffland, can be heard screaming in chilling audio of a 911 call she placed after her husband killed their twin daughters. “He shot me … my girls are dead, my girls … oh my God!”

The couple’s 16-year-old daughters, Brittany and Tiffany Coffland, were already dead when authorities arrived at the scene.

Much of the 911 recording follows Anjum’s realization that her daughters are dead, as she herself loses blood due to gunshot wounds in her legs.

According to PEOPLE, authorities believe Anjum’s husband likely shot her in the legs because he wanted her to live with her crushing grief.

“I want you to live and suffer like I did,” Randall could be heard saying to his wife in the audio.

“I just shot and killed my two kids and I shot my wife and I’m going to shoot myself now,” he told the 911 dispatcher. “My two girls are dead and I’m killing myself.”

One of the couple’s daughters was reportedly found with a gunshot wound to the head on the couch, while the other was discovered dead in her bedroom.

Randall Coffman died of a single gunshot wound to the head, according to reports.

Authorities say the Coffmans had been living apart after separating several months ago, but there was a domestic disturbance just last month that may have sent Randall’s disturbing plan into motion.

Because no crime had been committed in that instance, Randall was not arrested at the time.

Over the course of the horrific ordeal, the 911 dispatcher can be heard trying to calm Anjum.

“He killed my daughters, he killed my daughters,” the shocked mom screams. “He shot me. I’m going into shock. He killed my girls. He f—ing killed my girls. I’ve lost a lot of blood.”

When officers arrived close to the end of the call, Anjum’s first thought was to find help for her daughters.

“My girls!” she can be heard screaming over tears. “One of them is in the bedroom, I think. I need my girls to be checked. Please check my girls!”

At this time, police are still working to determine the exact motive behind the horrific killings.
